Phoenix Metals - Scrap Metal Processors
Scrap Metal North Wales

Welcome to Phoenix Metals

Over the past few years recylcing has become a major issue that affects us all. The need to recycle is essential for the future sustainabilty of the planet and future generations to come. As we all know, all metals as a resource are finite and the need to recycle this precious material is essential for future building work and the manufacture of many goods.

For the past thirteen years Phoenix Metals have been recycling scarp metal. We are based on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, and over this time we have been helping to keep the while of the North West Wales an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have done this by clearing farms of their redundants machinery, clearing End of Life Vehicles (cars & lorries) off the public highways. Even down to general household waste such as washing machines, cookers etc.

Phoenix Metals & C. Davies pay top prices for all grades of scrap metals:

Ferrous Metals Non-Ferrous Metals
Iron,
Steel,
Cars,
Lorries

Brass,
Lead,
Copper,
Aluminium,
Aluminium Cans,

We are a registered Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF); this means that you canbring your End of Life Vehicles (ELV's) to us. We will de-pollute them if all their engine lubricants and fuel, which are harmful to the environment and recycle the car metal. If you can bring your car to us we will pay you for it. If you can't do this we will collect the car free of charge (within a 30 mile radius, no payment given). ELV's also cover heavy goods vehicles. We also pay good prices for certain types of lorries, we pay for these whether we collect or you deliver.

As well as all of the above, we can also undertake large demolition/dismantiling, works eg:

Factories,
Farm Sheds,
Large Boats up to 100 tonnes

Skip Service:

If you have a large amount of scrap metal that you cannot move yourself, we also provide a Free Skip Service (we will deliver the skips as far down as the Llyn Peninsula and up to the Denbighshire moors area). Our rollonoff containers are 20ft long and 8ft wide and can carry up to 12 tonnes of scrap (minimum weight 3 tonnes). The containers also have a door at the back which means you can walk into them making loading them easier.

We will leave the skip with you for three days, you fill it yourself; phone us when the container is ready to be collected. We will then collect, bring it to our yard at Gaerwen were it will be weighed on our public weighbridge and the weight recorded on a printed ticket.

As the price of scrap metal is in a constant state of fluctuation, the prices may vary. Because of this you will need to phone us before you get the container to ask for the current prices. For payment, you can either call at the yard for the cash or we can send you a cheque out in the post.
